This year’s San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival once again hosts an all-star hip-hop music showcase as part of their annual Directions in Sound program. Featuring live music performances by NYC’s legendary mixtape master Neil Armstrong, his 5th Platoon mate and ITF hall-of-famer Vin Roc, up and coming East Bay MC Estairy, Daly City Records head Mochipet and friends turntablist Mike Boo and drummer Mike Reed, and sister #1 DJ Zita, Directions in Sound goes down March 16 at the Independent.
