Kelly Zen-Yie Tsai "Infinity Breaks" CD Release Party

Don't miss out on your only chance to see Boston bred poet Sahra Nguyen, Chicago born rapper Denizen Kane and Brooklyn based poet Kelly Zen-Yie Tsai do their thang!

Locus Arts is proud to host the only Bay Area CD release of Kelly Zen-Yie Tsai Infinity Breaks and premiere screening of By-Standing: The Beginning of An American Lifetime by L.A based filmmaker Karen Lin (ZuZu Films).

Born out of the business of dirty laundry & hard knocks of floor sanding, Sahra Nguyen is the daughter of Vietnamese wrestlers who took down the pacific waves on refuge. Reppin Boston, she is on a journey of growth and love as the perpetual learner. From stretched canvas to city streets, Sahra is a painter & conscious propagandist transcending the written world with honest words. Sahra loves art in it's infinite forms, & believes the creative outlet to be complimentary to community organizing in reaching the critical mass.

He is one of the founders of I Was Born With Two Tongues (1998-2003), a spoken word quartet that independently released an LP entitled Broken Speak. In Tree City Legends and the forthcoming Tree City Legends, Vol. 2, Kane makes his mark as a solo artist and displays his skills as a precocious lyricist, a style innovator, and a great storyteller-in-the-making. He has toured from New York to Tokyo to Los Angeles and has done shows with underground hip hop luminaries such as the Visionaries, Living Legends, and J-Live. His has also performed on three seasons of HBO's Russell Simmons' Presents Def Poetry. For more information visit Denizen Kane
