7th ANNUAL ASIAN COMEDY NIGHT featuring Ali Wong and headliner, Rex Navarrete

Contemporary Asian Theater Scene (CATS) proudly presents its 7th Annual Asian Comedy Night. The rousing success of Asian Comedy Night is due to the hilarious, profane, irreverent and profanely irreverent comedians that have performed over the years. This year, Rex Navarrete and Ali Wong headline the card.

Rex is a native of the Philippines but was raised in South San Francisco. Rex remains one of the hardest working American comedians today, working alongside notable national headliners such as George Lopez, DL Hughley and Paul Mooney. 2005 marked the release of his second DVD, "Badass Madapaka!". His other projects include his own television series, "Rex in the City" for MTV Philippines and voices for many of the key characters in the groundbreaking Filipino-American animated production, "The Nutshack". Ali Wong is a native San Franciscan and is creating a heavy buzz in the local comedy scene. Ali wears her hair in her trademark Chun-Li buns and with her infectious enthusiasm and a dab of exhibitionism packs quite a punch.
