Some of you may already know the growing number of political killings happening in the Philippines under the Arroyo regime. The number has exceeded 800 people and the victims are from all sector of the Philippine population from students to peasants, journalists to professors, and it continues to grow every week. The STOP THE KILLING BENEFIT SHOW is an attempt towards ACTION AND ACCESSIBILITY.

1) ACTION: Renowned musicians, visual artists and filmmakers have come together not only to showcase their talent but to empower their audience to make a difference. Please check out the website for more information and a complete list of participants:

2) ACCESSIBILITY: The Philippines is the second most dangerous place for journalists in the world (second only to Iraq) . Most of the earlier victims were Philippine journalists and since then there has been a media blackout. The STOP THE KILLING BENEFIT SHOW will provide you information on who the victims are, who is responsible for these killings and tangible ways you can help to bring about change.
